Insecure Writer's Support Group: Belated Thanks
I missed last month's post because I was too tired to think. This month almost passed me by thanks to an upper respiratory infection. I'm not quite at 100% but I wanted to pop on and give a belated thanks to everyone who stopped by in September and got a book. Money has been tight for me, but I was able to redeem some points on a survey site so I could support others as well.
I also want to thank the admins for emailing a list of all the books to everyone. I have it saved for when I'm in need of a new read.
This month I'll be back to one job, so I'll have more free time and energy to devote to writing and reading. (Although, I am going to miss being at the museums. They were chill and allowed me to sneak some writing in as well as knitting.) Of course, the holidays are rolling around so that will eat into my free time, but what can you do.
I'm going to leave it at that for now. As I said, I'm getting over an illness so my energy levels are low right now.
Today's post was part of the Insecure Writer's Support Group.
Created by the ninja captain, Alex J. Cavanaugh, it's a group for writers struggling with writing insecurity (AKA all of us) to gather and discuss their fears or to celebrate writing victories. If you are a struggling writer or need encouragement and friendship, join us. (Someone might have cookies!)
Remember to visit the co-hosts and give them a shout-out for helping. Kalpana, Kim Lajevardi, Rebecca Douglass, Jennifer Lane, and Cathrina Constantine!
