Not the book release I had planned
You know, a new book is supposed to be exciting. Normally, I’m chomping at the bit for it to release after setting a pre-order. But my enthusiasm has been dampened, quite literally. Because today, we discovered this.
That’s the bottom of our kitchen cupboard and it’s dripping. Now, a few hours later, the paint at the top of the cupboard is getting wrinkly and water damaged. I just submitted a claim to our house insurance. Cross your fingers for us that whatever is going on is covered and we aren’t just paying Progressive for fun.
I’m not even getting into the MI DHS letter I also got that claimed my husband didn’t fulfill his work/job hunting requirements for SNAP. Never mind nothing on the website asked us to upload said requirements. I haven’t told him yet as I don’t have the energy for his reaction. I already had to deal with that over the dripping water and another more minor incident.
All this sob story to say is I really, really really want you to go buy my books now. Because it looks like we have house repairs coming soon. Ones that can’t be put off and might require tearing out some cupboards. I dunno. We can’t see where the water is getting int because the cupboards are in the way.
I want to cry. Any hope I had that 2026 would take a better turn than 2025 is gone. I had been determined to make it happen out of pure spite and the universe just laughed in my face.
Anyway, this is the new book. It’s the fourth in a series. I’m going to link everything below the description. Please go buy a book or two. If you already own my books, well, thanks for reading and supporting me. If you could, share this to someone who likes paranormal, fantasy, and sci-fi.
They are the voices that guide us…
Or deceive us…
But what if an angel and devil fall in love?
Influencers are the tiny angels and devils who sit on our shoulders and whisper in our ears. They guide our choices. Their purpose is indisputable.
This is the truth.
Clover knows it is her duty to guide the young mortal boy’s soul to the Light. She is committed to doing her part to save the world from evil and keep the child safe. The handsome Dark Influencer will not fool her with lies.
Sorrel has been waiting for his Light counterpart to arrive. Together, they will bring balance to the mortal world. And fall madly in love. When he discovers Clover is a true believer, his world crumbles around him.
As the young boy suffers from a strange illness, Clover struggles to understand why. Is there a grain of truth to the rumors she’s heard? What is her true purpose? How is she connected to Sorrel? Clover must uncover the truth and face it if she wants to save the mortal she swore to protect.
The rest of my books are available here. I'm still knitting away, so you can always get a hat instead. Plus, my Ko-fi is always open for donations.
I really appreciate any help anyone can give. Shares count equally as sales. It really sucks that I’m starting 2026 with more pleas for help. I’ve been begging the universe for a different outcome, trying to will a nice tech job to come hubby’s way so we can get off assistance, I can stop asking for help, and we can get stuff done.
